About Staar Academy

The Staar Academy provides professional, quality dance, music instruction for children, young adults and adults. A variety of classes are offered to meet each dancers needs. We take great pride in our unique style of dance, training techniques, and implementing each dancer with strong core values. We recognize each dancer as an individual and focus on improving their natural talents and abilities in a fun, encouraging and supportive atmosphere. The curriculum is carefully planned to help guide each student and give each dancer the best opportunity to achieve. Classes are run to help build self esteem, learn about the art of dance, and most of all for FUN! We are very proud of the instruction we provide and strongly believe you will feel the same.

 

The Staar Academy ultimately outstands and separates from other dance studios in the area.

 

The Staar Academy specializes in smaller class which provides students with more personal attention and hands on instruction. All classes with dancers under the age of 7 will have a teacher and an assistant teacher in class. This allows each dancer to learn, grow, and excel in class. We have a yearly recital in September which each dancer has the opportunity to participate. The Staar Academy has two dance studios running Monday through Sunday. Day classes are also available on weekends. Please call for class schedules.

The Staar Academy is owned and under the direction of Krithika Viswanathan.  The teachers they hire undergo rigorous auditions to ensure that the students who come to learn are taught by the best and nothing but the best. The Academy’s intention is to make sure that quality of teaching is in no way compromised and it stands by it at all costs.  The intention is also to pay the teachers substantially well so that they are retained and the students are benefitted from it in the end. The objective of the academy is not about making money but to make sure that quality of education is the primary motive and classes throughout the US to stay up to date on the latest dance trends. All teachers and classes are under the direction of Krithika.
